DDW is always thinking of ways we can improve our products and help food product developers find the right solutions for their applications. We respond to the needs of our customers and we understand the consumer demands for natural products and clean labeling.

In recent years, our Science and Innovation team has created innovations including an Acid Proof Class One Certified Organic Caramel Color; a caramelised vegetable made from onion (which can also be labeled as a natural flavor); a caramelised fruit made from apple (which can also be labeled as a natural flavor); and a caramelised sugar, a natural flavor with incidental color.



DDW is proud to offer a natural brown coloring for cream cheese and other dairy spreads. DDW’s oil dispersible caramel color technology allows for dispersion into an oil based dairy system.
