Corporate Responsibility in Cork, Ireland
SAFE in Glanmire is a group formed in 2009 following the sad occurence of a number of suicides in the community in Glanmire. They encourage people not to be afraid to talk about suicide and would like people to know that they do not need to go through pain alone – there is help available. They facilitate training to members of the community on detecting signs of suicidal thoughts, giving trainees practical intervention skills and provide training how to make a personal safety plan for the future.

Meals on Wheels
The Meals-on-Wheels volunteers cook approx. 30 meals each day for clients 5 days a week. The service, supported by the HSE, was designed to provide nourishing meals for mainly elderly people, or those recovering from an illness or just out of hospital who are unable to prepare a proper cooked meal for themselves.
