Manages assigned products within a region, develop and implement strategies, and drive in collaboration with global marketing in order to ensure Sense Colour’s leading position within the relevant market.

Define product strategies, priorities, and action plans for the region under global supervision

  • Manage assigned regional portfolio to ensure it is relevant, complete, competitive and profitable, and aligned with the business strategy
  • Develop an understanding of the assigned product space within the local market
  • Work towards goal of becoming subject matter expert for assigned product or category, through analysis, of customer products, growth rates, shares, new product introductions and competitive landscape
  • Identify needs and opportunities through external and internal analysis, quantify opportunities, and establish business justification for new regional projects. Communicate the information to GPM/CTL for global support.
  • Help deliver Sales and Gross Margin targets, working closely with Global Product Manager on price level definition. analyzing product sales performances on existing portfolio and last product launch.
  • Identify non-performing products and recommends actions
  • Other duties as assigned

Engage with Sales as assigned to provide marketing support for customers

  •  Ensure that customers know and understand our capabilities, convert global collateral for regional relevance
  •  Partner with Sales and local technical teams to identify growth opportunities and target accounts
  •  Support them by creating customer presentations according to service grid
  •  Develop relationships with customers and define and execute marketing activities in collaboration with global marketing
  •  Ensure the Regional Marketing plan/activity is consistent with and supports Sense Colour Branding & Positioning (supervision from Global Marketing), and update marketing resources/tools when necessary
  •  Execute regional trends analysis and develop marketing support in collaboration with global marketing team
  •  Lead development of regional product or category concepts and present to target customers
  •  Work with global marketing team/digital manager for regionalized communication campaign and tradeshow organization

Drive Commercialization Of Products & Technologies

  •  Drive the commercialization of products and technologies via the IDDC process. Lead this for regional priorities and partners and with GPM/CTL/S&I for global priorities
  •  Working with the Marketing Director, drive external product launch in the region (e.g., jointly develop promotional plan, arrange sales force training, support sales in customer visits, resolve issues affecting commercial plan
  •  Ensure technical group is prepared to support the external launch of new products and technologies
  •  Develop and maintain knowledge of competitor products, communicates changes and recommends corrective responses
  •  Ensure that new ingredients and regional versions of colors are provided to all regional Sense Colour teams and Givaudan RI teams with all appropriate information related to the new products (regulatory requirement, pricing, etc)
